President

Bruce Keen is President of WellBoss and is responsible for the strategic direction, operational performance, and long-term growth of the company. He leads WellBoss with a focus on innovation, customer success, organizational excellence, and the expansion of the company’s global footprint. With a career spanning leadership roles across the oilfield services and downhole technology sectors, Bruce brings a unique combination of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and operational leadership. Prior to joining WellBoss, he held leadership positions with Halliburton and served as President of Disruptive Downhole Technologies, where he successfully guided business growth, technology commercialization, and market expansion initiatives. Bruce is recognized for building high-performing teams and fostering a culture that embraces innovation, agility, and accountability. He is passionate about developing solutions that address customer challenges and creating sustainable growth opportunities that strengthen WellBoss’ position as a leading provider of completion technology worldwide.

Kent Meyer

Executive Vice President – Eastern Hemisphere

Kent Meyer is the Executive Vice President of the Eastern Hemisphere at The WellBoss Company. Kent is a seasoned energy industry leader with over two decades of global experience working for a major service company where he held leadership roles across North America, the Middle East, and North Africa, consistently delivering operational excellence and customer-focused solutions. His career spans technical field service, project management, and global leadership roles, with a strong emphasis on commercialization, team development, and strategic execution. With a background in Computer System Technology and advanced training in finance, sales, and leadership, Kent brings a balanced, results-driven approach to solving complex challenges, and holds numerous patents related to wellbore and intervention technologies.

Matt Pigott
Executive Vice President – Production & Operations

Matt Pigott is the Vice President of Production at The WellBoss Company. Prior to joining WellBoss, he worked as an Operations Manager/Supervisor in various industries including automotive and manufacturing. Since joining The WellBoss Company in 2014, he has led the production team to increase output by 500%. Matt has played a pivotal role in transitioning the company from a start-up to a commercial operation. As an expert in Lean and Six Sigma, he has implemented both principles to ensure top-tier quality and efficient production of all WellBoss product lines, all while optimizing the supply chain through North America and MENA.

Bret Wonson
Vice President of Finance

Bret has held leadership positions in accounting and reporting for Sierra Resources, Earthstone Energy and GeoResources. Before taking on accounting roles in the upstream sector, he advanced through public accounting ranks as an auditor for Grant Thornton. With over 20 years of experience in accounting and reporting, Bret focused on supporting middle-market public and private companies in the energy industry. He is a certified public accountant in the State of Texas and earned both a Master’s in Accounting from the University of Alabama and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Mississippi State University.

Derek Payne, PE
Vice President of Engineering

Derek Payne, P.E., is a seasoned professional engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. He currently serves as the Vice President of Engineering at The WellBoss Company, where he leads the engineering team to develop innovative completion solutions that enhance operational efficiency and reliability for clients worldwide. Before joining The WellBoss Company, Derek held engineering leadership positions at Weatherford, Archer – The Well Company, and TAM International. Derek has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M and is a licensed Professional Engineer.

Ryan Rasmussen
Vice President – Product Lines and Technical Services

Ryan Rasmussen is the Vice President of Product Lines and Technical Services at The WellBoss Company, where he manages the company’s global product portfolio, including technical qualification, field implementation, product support, and commercialization. With more than 20 years of oil and gas industry experience spanning field operations, technical services, product development, product-line management, and international sales, Ryan is known for solving complex downhole challenges and generating unique concepts for new tool designs and product enhancements. Working globally with customers and cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Sales, and Operations, he helps translate field challenges and customer needs into practical, reliable, and commercially viable solutions.

Chad Gibson
Director of Sales – Western Hemisphere

Chad Gibson serves as Director of Sales, Western Hemisphere for The WellBoss Company, leading commercial strategy, business development, and marketing across North and South America. He works closely with operators, service companies, and channel partners to drive growth, strengthen customer relationships, and expand WellBoss’s market presence. With 15 years of experience developing oilfield technologies and completion tools, Chad combines technical expertise with a customer-focused approach to deliver innovative solutions that address complex operational challenges. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Montana Technological University (Montana Tech).

Thiago Menezes
Director of AI, Data & IT

Thiago Menezes is the Director of AI, Data & IT at The WellBoss Company, where he leads the company’s information technology, data, and artificial intelligence strategy. He brings more than 20 years of IT experience, including work in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science since 2012, alongside deep expertise in enterprise data engineering and Lakehouse platforms across major clouds. Thiago holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and an MBA in Business Intelligence and currently pursuing a Master of Interdisciplinary AI at the University of Ottawa.
