Installation of the WellBoss Knock-Out Plug allows the Packer to serve as a temporary Bridge Plug allowing pressure work to be performed above the Packer. The Knock-Out Plug is removed with the production tube as the seal assembly is landed and falls to the bottom of the well.
Knock-Out Plugs are designed with a pressure-balanced equalization system in order to ensure easy and reliable operation.
